How to enable/configure the anti-spam protection

 

Follow these instructions to enable or disable the anti-spam filter (to protect against junk mail) from the window:

  1. Click Status in the main screen in the program.

  2. In the Protection section, click Settings.

  3. Click Anti-spam in the left-hand section.

nota_shg.gif Note: You can also access the settings by clicking on the button in the top right-hand section of the Outlook and Outlook Express screens.

 

It is important to configure this protection correctly, as it lets you specify trusted domains or email addresses, to ensure that messages from the these domains or addresses are not classified as spam. These addresses or domains are stored in the List of trusted senders. The options available are:

 

Add email addresses or domains to the list of trusted senders:

Follow the steps below to add email addresses or domains to the list of trusted senders:

  1. Enter the email address or domain in the New address or domain box (e.g. example.com).

  2. Click Add to include the email address or domain (e.g. example.com) in the list. If you want to remove an address or domain from the list, select it and click Remove.

Add email senders to the list of trusted senders:

From this window you can also add senders of email classified as Not spam to the List of trusted senders. You have the following options:

Once you have established the settings you want, click on OK.
